FIFA World Cup 26 and FIFA FanFestival

The eyes of the world will be on Lincoln Financial Field (home to the NFL’s Eagles) in 2026, one of just 11 U.S. stadiums to hold matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. The Linc will host five Group Stage “pool play” matchups — featuring national teams from semi-randomly assigned groups — leading up to a July Fourth Round-of-16 Knockout Stage tilt for the right to advance to the Quarterfinals.

Philly will also host a FIFA FanFestival at Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park featuring giant game-watch screens, food, music, parties and more.

Cartesian Brewing - Celebrating Women in Beer, an Author Talk w/ Tara Nurin

Dismiss the stereotype of the bearded brewer. It's women, not men, who've brewed beer throughout most of human history. Their role as family and village brewer lasted for hundreds of thousands of years-through the earliest days of Mesopotamian civilization, the reign of Cleopatra, the witch trials of Medieval and Renaissance Europe, and the settling of colonial America.

Come learn about the forgotten history of women in the brewhouse, and the current world of female brewers for this special author's event with Tara Nurin at Cartesian Brewing.

Tickets are $15! Books available

East Passyunk Opera Project's The Wondrous World of Opera: Trusting Your Voice is Part Two of our participatory, learning-based opera experience for young audiences (Preschool to 3rd Grade) and their families. The interactive show introduces children to the joy of singing and live performance.

Discover "The Wondrous World of Opera: Trusting Your Voice", an interactive musical adventure where voices come alive and emotions take color! Join Viola, Mira, and Leo as they explore emotions through opera, learn how singing together can create harmony, understand how music expresses feelings even without words, and learn that being brave means using your voice — no matter how big or small. With playful duets, vibrant colors, and familiar melodies, this enchanting show teaches children to trust their own voice and celebrate the unique power of self-expression and collaboration.

WWO is not your typical performance where everyone is expected to sit and hold still; children are encouraged to engage, interact, and respond. ePOP creates a fun, engaging experience for young audiences, introducing children to the magic of live performance and the joy of attending a show from an early age.
