More About The Rainbow Gate and David Guinn:

The staircase in this multi-media installation represents the path we’ve taken to get to the present moment. Under the staircase lies the accumulated hurts of our journey. We arrive in the dusk at a garden, a place of contemplation. Standing in the garden we find the Rainbow Gate. We can’t know what’s beyond the gate, but it beckons.

Since 1999 David Guinn has created public art across North America, Europe and the Middle East.  Philadelphia born and raised; David studied Architecture at Columbia University. Working at the intersection of art, architecture and technology, David’s work integrates traditional large-scale mural painting with LED lighting, creating iconic spaces that function day and night.
