Why join the EPABID?

The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District is a non-profit organization dedicated to the continued revitalization of East Passyunk and the surrounding neighborhood. From facade grants to premiere events and marketing for our businesses, the EPABID does it all! For business owners outside of the EPABID, but located in the East Passyunk vicinity, the EPABID offers an associate membership for $365 annually - just $1 per day!

Why Become An Associate Member?

The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District Associate Membership provides a unique opportunity for business owners and service providers to connect with customers and City services through key communication channels. Associate Members receive benefits related to marketing and promotions, event participation, navigating City services and much more!

What Does Membership Include?

  • Business listing on EPABID directory

  • Featured email blast in bi-weekly newsletter

  • Social media postings on EPABID’s Facebook and Instagram

  • Event participation at associate membership rates

  • PR opportunities for events and neighborhood activities

  • Sponsorship opportunities to expand audience reach

  • Access to workshops on safety, marketing, city regulations, and business skills

  • Invitations to local networking events for collaboration with neighborhood businesses

  • Direct connections to City grants and funding for business improvement, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce

What’s Not Included

  • Cleaning: Unfortunately, we are not able to offer cleaning services off of the routes that are currently established along East Passyunk Avenue.

  • Facade Grants: Associate members are not eligible to apply for the EPABID’s Facade Grant program. However, we can help you apply to the City’s Storefront Improvement Program when eligible.

  • Board Membership: Associate members are not eligible to run for or be a part of the Board. However, they may join a special Committee!

How Do I Sign Up?

The EPABID Associate Membership is valid for one year and the application process is straightforward:

  • Complete the EPABID Associate Business Membership application via Google Forms, found below.

  • Await a decision from the Business Development Committee within 2-4 weeks; check your email for updates.

  • If accepted, you will receive a payment link. For 2024 and 2025 memberships, the 2024 fee will be prorated and must be paid within two weeks of acceptance; 2025 fees are due by December 15, 2024.

  • After payment, you'll be added to the EPABID Shops email list for updates. Your business will also be eligible for promotion on our social media channels and included in the website directory.
