Cleaning & Greening
In partnership with the Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation (PARC), the EPABID facilitates 6 day/week sidewalk sweeping and trash management along the corridor. From picking up litter to removing weeds from tree pits and everything in between, our Avenue’s cleaning crew helps East Passyunk look better and better each day.

EPBABID helps existing businesses remain stable and grow through programming such as training, promotional support, communication, connection to other businesses in the District, and assistance with private and public funding opportunities for small businesses.
Associate Business Membership
The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District is a non-profit organization dedicated to the continued revitalization of East Passyunk and the surrounding neighborhood. From facade grants to premiere events and marketing for our businesses, the EPABID does it all! Sidewalk and Facade Grants
The EPABID addresses buildings and areas in the public right of way in need of repair and improvement through our Facade Grant program. This program:
Offers a matching grant reimbursement program to fund improvements to facades and sidewalks.
Provides assistance to new and existing businesses with any additional available resources (such as the Storefront Improvement program with the City of Philadelphia) to improve their facades and sidewalks.
The EPABID aims to create more cohesion in the District and a better experience for residents and visitors alike through public space improvements. These interventions include:
Branded banners on light poles up and down the Avenue.
Improved lighting via decorative and string lighting.
Wrapping of trash receptacles to minimize graffiti and better brand the District.
Partnerships with local businesses, residents, and community groups on public art projects.
Marketing and Events
The EPABID helps promote and market the District, creating top tier street fairs, sidewalk festivals and promotional events to attract visitors from around the corner and from thousands of miles away. Our social media accounts reach over 60,000 followers, which helps support each business within our District and the Avenue as a whole.
Some examples of our branding efforts include:
Consistent branding for the District, including recognizable fonts, colors and signage to create a cohesive visitor experience across physical and digital realms.
A comprehensive website that includes relevant information such as our business directory, available properties, transportation options, and special events.
Promotion of the District through available mechanisms such as internet-based platforms and other marketing opportunities.
Special events that expand on existing event successes and introduce new events, building more interest in the District from residents to visitors alike.
