A Novel Idea - Black Hats, Brooms, and Cats : A Witch's Guide to Spooky Season

  • A Novel Idea on Passyunk 1726 East Passyunk Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19148 United States (map)

Join witches Christina Rosso-Schneider and Ash Yezuita as they explore the spookiest season of all--fall! As the earth prepares to hibernate, witches come together to celebrate what they've harvested and reflect on what they can release. A Novel Idea welcomes you to a workshop that combines both lecture and learning with ritual and rites aligned to autumnal magic. Practitioners will learn potent spellwork aligned to the autumn equinox, Mabon, and the witch's new year, Samhain, while also exploring the mysteries and mythology that surround the descent into the darker half of the year. Let's reflect as we approach the end of the year, pay homage to our ancestors, and dive into the murky waters of our shadow selves. This class includes various modalities of magic including lecture, meditation, Tarot and divination, shadow work, and active ritual. Participants will dress an ancestor candle for this season.

Ash Yezuita, heathen and witch for two decades, and Christina Rosso-Schneider, writer and witch for nearly a decade, will introduce new folks to the magic of Fall and deepen the practice of long-time celebrants as we come together for a two-hour session.
