Sawubona Creativity Project- BIPOC Improv Jam

  • Sawubona Creativity Project 1626 East Passyunk Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19148 United States (map)

We're so excited to announce that Sawubona Creativity Project will be hosting a monthly jam for the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) members of our community! The Jam is FREE and all experience levels are welcome!

What is Improv?

Improv is acting without a script! In improv jams, we use associations to play games, and make scenes as we go along in an environment welcoming to all! The rules of improv are to always say "yes, and..."

Improv is all about being in the moment and telling a story, and trusting your gut and the people around you.

Following the jam will be a pay what you wish show from @nyteshiftcomedy at 7:30pm! This Philly-based comedy troupe gives a voice to people of color, and the show is open to everyone!
