Support the Ave and win BIG with the Birds this Super Bowl LIX! The Capri Dessecker Team at RE/MAX is hosting a Super Bowl Block Pool to benefit the EPABID’s beautification projects for East Passyunk Avenue, including lighting, landscaping and more.
What’s a block pool?
A block pool is a betting game where participants purchase squares on a grid, and winners are determined by the last digit of each team's score at the end of each quarter in the game.
How does it work?
Setup: A Super Bowl block pool grid has 100 squares, each corresponding to a unique combination of the last digit of each team's score. Players select squares by buying them for $50 each. Once all 100 blocks are filled, numbers are assigned and players will be notified of their block numbers.
Prize Distribution: After the game, winners are determined by the score at the end of each quarter, with one square winning per quarter based on the last digit of both teams' scores.
Winnings: Each quarter's winner typically receives a portion of the total pool—$500 for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter, and $1,000 for the winner of the final score.
